Charrisse Johnston

Charrisse Johnston is the President-Elect of the Council for Interior Design Qualification and Immediate Past Chair of the South African Institute of Interior Design Professions, as well as a Fellow and former Chair of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She is Co-Founder and Director of StudioSALT, with previous leadership roles at SteinbergHart and Gensler, the world's largest architecture and design firm. An educator and thought leader, she teaches at UCLA Extension, has lectured at IE University, and contributes to the International WELL Building Institute's Mind Advisory board, focusing on wellness and the neuroscience of interior environments.
