Deise Forgiarini Smith is a Brazilian-born interior designer and entrepreneur, founder of Deise Smith Studio, who began her career in hotel management before moving to London and later relocating to Lagos in 2010 to pursue interior design, training at the University of the Arts London with a special focus on lighting design. She previously served as Creative Director and Founding Partner of Gemona West Interiors and Gemona West Lifestyle, through which she delivered over 100 residential and commercial projects across three continents and earned multiple international recognitions, including the IDEA Award (2021) and the International Property Awards (2019, 2020, 2022, 2023). A professional member of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN) for over a decade, she now leads selected high-net-worth projects under her studio while continuing her globally informed, award-winning design practice.
