Amara Duarte

Amara Duarte is the Design Education & Community Coordinator at Light Design Factory, where she leads learning experiences focused on making design more accessible, practical, and inclusive. A Brazilian-American creative with formal training in Visual Arts Education and Interior Design, Amara develops platforms such as Design Classroom and Book Reviews with Amara. Through her work, she supports emerging voices with thoughtful teaching, rigorous research, and a clear belief that design should be understood, used, and shaped by everyone.
